Angel Care Home understands that this is the greatest journey your loved one is going to take. There are no do-overs! Picking the right home that address your loved ones needs physically and mentally are going to make the difference in how they CAN live their best quality of life.
Activities
Life at Angel Care Home is filled with moments to connect, relax, and enjoy the simple pleasures. Residents can check their private mailboxes, spend quit time in the garden under the cool outdoor AC, or listen to the soothing sound of our waterfalls. The fresh scenic pathways are perfect for a leisurely stoll. and our wheel chair accessible herb garden offers activities that are appropriate for peaceful reflection and light activity!
Dinning
Dinning for our residents is individual to each person. They can choose to dine at the table if they prefer a family setting. In the living room on the couch, geri chair, or wheel chair, with a pull over table. They can also dine in the privacy of their rooms or in our garden.
All American Menu!
Residents in care facilities often eat poorly. Providing a regular diet soft in texture can often help increase meal intake. Our meals are well balanced and help manage conditions like high blood pressure and diabetes. We do not provide restricted diets as these conditions are usually monitored by use of medication; however as their care level changes we will provide adaptive tools and texture modifications.
Dressing
Being dressed and ready for the day provides dignity. Loved ones sometimes start to have a hard time dressing themselves daily, our staff provides assistance with daily activities such as dressing. All residents are changed daily and as needed. For residents that are restricted to being in bed, we provide gowns for comfort.
Bathing
Getting a good shower always feels amazing. Keeping your loved one clean can prevent skin break down, body odder and infections. Showers are provided 2-3 times a week and as needed depending on residents specific needs. Our roll in shower's are adapted to provide independence with grab bars, and chairs that can be adjusted to a sitting position or a reclined position if a resident can not sit up. Bed baths are always optional.
Daily Hygiene
Our team of caregivers can help you when it comes to daily hygienic activities like bathing, skincare, and oral care. Whether you need assistance in brushing your teeth or just picking out the appropriate outfit for the day, you can rely on our team to do the job.
Laundry
Residents only need to bring a few set of clothing. Laundry is labled and done daily. No waiting for weeks for your clothes to be returned and ready for use!
Management
Your health and safety is important to us so we have a strong management team who can coordinate care and address your concerns. If you need any assistance, we focus on personalized care to adjust to your loved ones care needs or can bring in a team of professionals who can address needs right away.
Medical/Nursing Treatments
We follow the Department of Health guidelines when it comes to residents in need of medical services. Under the care of hospice and or home health nurses, we can care for your loved one while monitoring and reporting medical needs such as G-tubes, colostomy's, wounds, etc.
MEMORY CARE TRAINING for all staff
We provide the 8 hour memory care training that is approved by department of health! This training is for all staff, and can be done in person at our facility or in person in your facility! We also do weekends!
MEMORY CARE TRAINING for managers
We provide the 4 hour memory care training for Assisted Living Managers. This training is also approved for 8 CEU's through the NCIA board! So not only will you get an amazing engaging memory care catered to managers but meet you CEU requirement to maintain your license!
